The Office for Aging’s Foundation Board held its second annual Sips for Seniors at Eisenadler Brauhaus, in Nelliston, on Thursday, Sept. 14. Thank you to everyone who attended and for making it a successful evening of raising funds to support the organization and its efforts to provide critical services to Montgomery County’s older residents.
Personally, I’d like to thank our Foundation Board for their support of this event. In addition, the Foundation would like to thank our hosts at Eisenadler. The Rodriquez family has built a terrific brewery and I urge everyone to visit their establishment if you haven’t had a chance to do so.
I’d also like to thank supporters Bill & Roberta Winsman, The Tire Shop in Canajoharie, Community Bank and Trinity Services Group, which provided the terrific food we sold at the event. Your support is appreciated and went a long way in making our fundraising efforts successful. Thank you also to Bug Country Radio’s Laurie Britton for joining us that evening and the entertainment of the night, provided by the CleenStreet Trio, including the Foundation Board’s own Carl Marucci, which was outstanding.
Finally, I’d like to thank the OFA staff who volunteered at the event, serving food, selling raffle tickets and really contributing to the overall success of the evening.
