Who should attend this workshop? Low- to moderate-income individuals or families interested in purchasing a home, very-low-income homeowners in need of repair assistance or accessibility modifications, realtors, lenders, housing advocates and community leaders.
USDA Rural Development provides loans and loan guarantees to help low and moderate income persons purchase or build safe, affordable housing. USDA also offers fixed 1% interest rate loans for qualifying very low income homeowners to make repairs, improvements and/or accessibility modifications to their homes. Grants are also available to very low income homeowners who are at least 62 years of age and cannot repay a loan.
USDA and our partners are working together to ensure that rural America continues to be a great place to live, work and foster economic opportunity.
