As a result of COVID19 we are taking the following actions in an effort to keep our clients, employees and other county residents safe. These changes are currently in effect and will be until further notice.
The office located at 135 Guy Park Avenue in Amsterdam will remain open Monday through Friday with our regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to accept phone calls. The office will be closed to the public and will not accept visitors. Any matters that need to be addressed can be done by calling the office at 518-843-2300.
Our Canajoharie satellite office located at 28 Church St. is closed. Clients can call our main office at 518-843-2300.
Home-delivered meals: We are no longer doing frozen. As of June 1, we are resuming hot meal delivery Monday- Thursday with a chilled meal for Friday.
Congregate meals: All meal sites are closed and regular participants have been contacted.
OFA Cupboard of Kindness Food/Pet Pantries in Amsterdam and Palatine Bridge: Closed
Senior Transport: Medical trips will still be arranged but at the discretion of the volunteer drivers.
Weekly grocery trips: Cancelled and regular participants have been notified.
Wellness Programs: Tai Chi and yoga classes sponsored by MCOFA and held at the Inman Senior Center and Arkell Center are cancelled.
